I specialize in modern newborn, maternity and baby's first year photography. Because new life is so fresh and pure, you'll see a lot of white throughout my work. White is a perfect compliment to the innocence of babyhood. And even more importantly, it allows space for my babies and families to shine.

My north facing window provides beautiful even light throughout the day. I use this spot for everything! It's great for newborn props shots: nest, buckets, baskets etc. I also use this area for parent pictures, maternity shots and baby milestone set-ups. Not only does the window provide fantastic light, it also serves as a beautiful backdrop for those bright, white backlit shots.
This is my beanbag area for newborns. I have everything I need here to pose and tend to baby. I keep the heater blowing and the noise machine cranked up. Warmth and white noise definitely help keep baby asleep throughout the session. This is the main area where I use the studio light. Everything else is typically natural light.
Not pictured is family couch area on the opposite wall. Parents and siblings are invited to relax there after their pictures are done. I typically photograph the siblings and parents at the start of the session and then work one on one with the newborn on the beanbag.
The white bed is a great spot for everything... family pictures with your newborn, sibling shots and individual pictures of babies of all ages. This cozy little area is a reminder of home and all of the time your baby will likely spend in your bed!! It's perfect for posed pictures, but also for more relationship and lifestyle type shots. Everyone loves pictures on the white bed!
Here you can see just how big the window is. I often slide the white wood boards to the window wall and use it for prop shots and milestone pictures. The large white cabinet is one of two storage units that house the many baskets, buckets and other props and accessories that add that professional look to your final images.
