That new baby smell, soft fresh skin and the sweetness of their little toes and perfect lips. There's nothing more exciting or more rewarding than becoming a parent and cherishing all of the little details of your brand-new baby.
My newborn sessions provide the perfect opportunity to relax and take in these precious, fleeting moments. There's no better time to celebrate your newest addition and growing family.
Rest assured, I understand that babies tend to arrive on their own schedules. It's best to reserve a newborn spot on my calendar during your second or third trimester. I book a limited number of due dates per week so that I can accommodate the unpredictability of birth. Once baby is born, we'll schedule your appointment date and time. We tend to get the best variety of images when baby is still exhibiting that sleepy, curly, womb-like behavior between 5-14 days after birth.
My newborn sessions take place in my Brentwood, Tennessee studio where I have everything we need on hand for a successful session. This includes props, wraps, hats and accessories, studio wardrobe for babies 0-12 months, maternity gowns for moms and all the little things from diapers to wipes to extra pacifiers. All you have to worry about it is getting
yourselves ready and over to the studio. I want your newborn photography experience to be easy, stress-free and enjoyable.
I know that it requires an incredible amount of trust in the person who will be working with your baby. I have four kids of my own (9, 14, 16, 18) and I have been specializing in newborn photography in the Nashville area for the past 8 years. I have photographed many, many, MANY newborns in that time. :)

Due dates do fill up in advance, so it's best to reach out for more information (and reserve your spot!) as soon as you know you're interested.
This is a one hour 'mini' newborn session. In order to achieve a variety of images in a short amount of time, I keep the baby swaddled for these pictures. I do use props and accessories for this session and as always, parents are encouraged to take pictures with their baby.
This is my most requested option for first time parents. We'll start out with swaddled baby and family images as we do in the Wrapped session. Then I'll gradually unwrap the baby and take more pictures in a variety of poses that show off their sweet faces and little baby bodies.
This option is perfect for families with older children. The concept is the same as the Classic, but we'll schedule more time for your photography appointment. The extra time allows for more sibling pictures and accommodates for those less than eager toddlers. ;)
